Fresh culinary Japanese chestnuts: sustainably grown, harvested with care, and inspected for quality. Pricing includes shipping domestically (excludes Alaska & Hawaii). Japanese chestnuts “Kuri” in Japanese, are red/ orange in color, with a sharp point to the bottom of the nut. These nuts are best prepared boiled in water (salted to taste), rather than roasted. Shells may be reluctant to peel from the nut meat.
Due to agriculture regulations, we can not ship to California, Washington, and Oregon.
